Stefan Auerbach, who was Chairman of our Advisory Board in 2018, took over the position of CEO in January 2019. Stefan has a background of more than 30 years in R&D, Service, Marketing and Management of Global Sales Organizations for Information Technology and Mobile Security. He started his career in Nixdorf Computer, held several key management positions in Siemens Nixdorf and was a long-term Board Member in Wincor Nixdorf and Giesecke & Devrient.
Malte Pollmann has been a member of the Utimaco Management Board since 2008 and CEO from 2011 until 2019. He currently holds the position as CSO (Chief Strategy Officer). Previously, he was Product Director and Business Unit Leader at Lycos Europe NV (a Bertelsmann company). With a master’s degree in Physics from the Universities of Paderborn and Kaiserslautern in Germany, Malte also received a general management education at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. In parallel to his work at Utimaco, he also serves on the Supervisory Board of the International School of IT Security – isits AG in Bochum.
Martin took over the position of CFO in January 2020. Martin is a very experienced Business Finance Manager with a focus on business processes, acquisitions and post-merger integrations. He held various management positions at Siemens Nixdorf and Wincor Nixdorf and served as Managing Director at Diebold Nixdorf Systems GmbH and Vice President Finance Global Business Unit Systems at Diebold Nixdorf Inc. until 2019.
Ansgar Steden took over the role of Chief Revenue Officer in October 2020. He has more than 20 years of sales experience in the finance and telecommunications industry. Most recently, Ansgar was Vice President Banking DACH Eurasia and member of the management of Diebold Nixdorf Deutschland GmbH at Diebold Nixdorf. Before that, he held various management and sales positions at Quovadis and T-Systems.
Stefan Zeichner has been with Utimaco since 1998, and has served as Senior Vice President (SVP) for the business unit “Lawful Interception & Monitoring Solutions” since 2011. Previously, he was Head of Research & Development at Utimaco from 2006 to 2011. Stefan holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Aachen University of Technology (RWTH).
