Utimaco launches next generation of Hardware Security Modules

AACHEN, DE – Utimaco Safeware, a global leader in hardware based data security solutions, has extended its Hardware Security Module (HSM) portfolio with the new SafeGuard^® CryptoServer Se-Series. 
The SafeGuard^® CryptoServer Se-Series comprises of several Hardware Security Modules that are optimized for common security requirements in commercial environments. They fulfill all requirements in accordance with the leading certification standard worldwide, FIPS 140-2 level 3.
The high-speed model SafeGuard^® CryptoServer Se1000 marks the new top line in cryptographic performance with more than 10,000 RSA transactions per second. The SafeGuard^® CryptoServer Se-Series furthermore features two models Se10 and Se50 which have been designed to fit low to medium performance requirements of business applications, e.g. a corporate Certificate Authorities (CA).
All models of the SafeGuard^® CryptoServer Se-Series are available as PCI Express expansion card and network attached HSM. They support all major cryptographic interfaces which include Microsoft CryptoAPI and Cryptography Next Generation (CNG); PKCS#11, JCE and OpenSSL. 
In addition, Utimaco offers a powerful Software Development Kit enabling integrators to write their custom firmware extensions for execution inside the secure boundary of any model of the SafeGuard^® CryptoServer Se-Series.
